Evercoat Slick Sand Polyester Primer Surfacer - Gray - 709

The Evercoat Slick Sand 709 is a high solids, high build automotive polyester primer surfacer ideally suited for filling most rough and uneven surfaces in one coat. It has excellent adhesion to fiberglass, SMC, body filler and wood surfaces. Slick Sand is VOC compliant and provides an excellent foundation for any paint system.

It offers extremely high build capability and also sands easily. It prevents bleed through of fillers and fills minor pits. It does not shrink and is compatible with any top coat system while priming and leveling all at once.

The Evercoat Slick Sand Polyester Primer Surfacer offers an easy spray-on application when using a spray gun. It requires a primer gun with a 1.7mm to a 2.2mm nozzle gun. This easy-to-use catalyzed primer surfacer dries quickly and can be sanded down easily with 320-grit sandpaper. It has a tight, cross-link cure that holds down body repairs and staining. This VOC-compliant product does not require a pre-coat, nor does it need reduction. The Evercoat polyester primer is ready-to-spray once catalyzed, and can be sprayed on with a conventional automotive spray gun. 

It has minimal dry spray and does not require a sealer before top coats. It can easily fill pinholes, gravel chips, grazed surfaces and any other surface imperfections. It also provides superior protection against corrosion and has no maximum recoat window once sanded. Its non-isocyanate, non-carcinogenic formula reduces health risks drastically. This poly primer surfacer is a premium quality product that is perfect for priming and surfacing auto body repairs before top coat refinishing.
