Lincoln Harris Silicon Bronze MIG Welding Wire #2 Spool is a .035" copper-silicon alloy, used to weld similar composition base metals and brass, as well as to weld copper alloys to steel. Silicon bronze is often used in GMAW braze welding of coated sheet steels, as well. Use this spool in conjunction with a Lincoln Harris or comparable, compatible spool gun.
When welding, keep in mind the pre-heating requirements based on the metal you're workingwith. Silicon bronze base metals generally do not require preheating, however some brass or copper base metals may require it depending on copper content and overall thickness.
Use Lincoln Harris Silicon Bronze MIG Welding Wire #2 Spool with the shielding gas that'soptimal for your application: 100% Argon or 75% Helium/25% Argon.
