The PLIOGRIP® by Valvoline Plastic Repair system makes use of an aerosol adhesion promoter, two rapid repair adhesives, and a finishing cream to complete the repair job. The repair system starts with an aerosol adhesion promoter that is designed to deliver a feather edge performance.
You can follow it with our PlioGrip Plastic Repair line of structural adhesive. Designed to provide high strength bonds, these adhesives have an unmatched strength and come in cure times of 25 seconds, 1, 3 or 10 minutes to suit every need.
These adhesives are relatively easy to handle and provide you with a relatively high performance bond that have better absorption capabilities. Resistant to moisture during storage, these adhesives are resistant to washout. The result of this is a joint that is permanent and extremely strong.
The bond is so strong that it prevents component shift, which can occur as a result of weak bonds. With absolutely no preparatory tasks such as pre-gelling, the adhesive reduces the risk of inaccuracies to a bare minimum. It offers excellent sandability and is OEM approved for SMC repair.
