Treat your rusted surfaces and breathe new life into them with the help of SEM Rust Trap. This high-gloss, moisture cured urethane coating restores and protects rusted areas to stop the spread of future oxidation.

SEM Rust Trap works on steel (rusted and clean), prepared painted surface and aluminum to full effect. Paint this product directly onto applicable surfaces (including bare, sanded steel) to seal current rust and prevent new rust from forming. The application cures quickly, drying to leave a rock-hard, non-porous finish that's impervious to moisture and other detractors that could incite rust. When allowed to cure completely, SEM Rust Trap leaves behind a finish that's chip-, peel- and crack-proof.

Unlike other rust treatment epoxies that may dry matte or off-colored, this product dries to a glossy finish that's highly presentable. Fast coverage dries evenly—especially when applied via spray gun—to leave a resilient top coat that's smooth and clean. As a topcoat, the finished product boasts astounding UV resistance.

When applied, SEM Rust Trap covers roughly 500 square feet per gallon used, at 2 mils unreduced, not flattened. Mileage can vary depending on application method—this product can be brushed or sprayed on to fullest effect.

This product is available in black, silver and flattener versions, to best fit your application of choice. Black option also available in quart and gallon size.
